Faye M. Cittadino

As an elementary school educator, her passion for history and the arts inspired young people through a variety of unique educational experiences infusing the arts with traditional subject areas.

Faye and Frank Cittadino have enjoyed a shared commitment to the arts, education, and public service.

Both have worked to develop arts programs at the local, regional, state, national, and international levels. Faye has enjoyed music as both a performer and supporter through a variety of school and community choirs.  Her interest in the arts and education has brought about a number of leadership positions. She served as State Director for the New York PTA’s Arts Reflections Program overseeing state programs in music, art, literature, and Photography as well as elected President of the Clinton Historical Society. Currently, she serves as the President of Schooltown Questers.

With a passion for art at an early age, Frank is an exhibiting artist with over forty one-person exhibitions. His works have been in a variety of media from bronze and steel sculpture to his most recent commitment to landscape painting. His interest in music has been ongoing and includes performing in various musical groups.

He too has held a variety of leadership positions in the arts including President of the New York State Art Educators Association; Co-Chair of the National Art Education Association’s Professional Standards Committee and serving on the Board of Directors of the NYS Arts Alliance. He also was President of the Clinton Historical Society.

Currently, Frank enjoys serving as Professor of Fine Arts and Art History at Utica College.
