Carmen and Company
We are delighted to invite you to our next concert, on Saturday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Clinton Performing Arts Complex. This exciting program celebrates beloved orchestral works, rich cultural traditions, and the power of mentorship through music.
The Program:
Carmen Suite No. 1 and No. 2 – G. Bizet
Capriccio Brillante on the “Jota Aragonesa” – Mikhail Glinka
The Firebird Suite (1919 Version) - Igor Stravinsky
This concert is also being presented to area youth via a Children’s Concert where area students will learn about the music, the instruments, and the composers. Home school children were also invited through their networks. Education packets were sent to area teachers to help prepare the students for the concert. All free of charge to the school districts and students.
