The Clinton Symphony Orchestra of the Mohawk Valley promotes and presents classical music of substance, beauty and noble design, and enriches the musical education of area youth.
Our History
On June 3, 2014, local Clinton resident Dr. Roger Moore and Mr. Charles Schneider, Music Director for the Catskill Symphony, the Schenectady Symphony, and former Utica Symphony Orchestras, gathered a group of community leaders to engage in a conversation about forming a new professional symphony to serve the Mohawk Valley. The atmosphere at the meeting was positive and cautiously optimistic.
Local music organizations like the Clinton Symphony preserve our varied cultural heritage and enrich our communities artistic tapestry.
